My name is Aura Velez, I studied Graphic design and filmaking in Colombia where I am from, and currently finished Digital Character Animation at Vancouver Film School, place where I worked on my last 3D Animated short film "KIBA" and realized Animation is what I want to do for the rest of my life.

 

I'm passionate about drawing, since I was a little girl used to draw laying down in the floor for hours making more than 50 drafts comic books.  I used to say I wanted to make comics for film and television, and after studying graphic design I understood these "comics for TV" are called ANIMATION.

 

After working as an Illustrator, graphic designer and filmaker for 2 years in colombia and creating smalls animated projects I decided to move to Vancouver to take Digital Character Animation Program at VFS.
